Vendetta, Phantom come to high-def
Warner delivers new round of HD DVD, Blu-ray titles

V for Vendetta will feature HD DVD-unique bonus features. | OCT. 10 | Warner Home Video is releasing another batch of high-definition titles, including V for Vendetta on HD DVD and The Phantom of the Opera on Blu-ray Disc on Oct. 31.
V for Vendetta carries HD DVD-unique picture-in-picture interactivity, with which fans can watch bonus material “Director’s Notebook: Reimagining a Cult Classic for the 21st Century” while viewing the feature film.
Also streeting on Oct. 31 are Excalibur on HD DVD and three further Blu-ray releases, The Searchers, Unforgiven and Under Siege.
All titles are priced at $28.99 and will carry the same bonus features as their standard-definition versions.
